Well finally I managed to get back.

Got a lent laptop from my Bro. I've been tryin for awhile to find this site and remember my password. Been a rough time the last couple years. Between Brenda and my health issues ,we've been run off our feet going to specialists and medical appointments. Finally I'm back to a reasonable health to handle the chores around here. Chunk of metal in my chest to keep my heart regular and a handful of meds to handle the blood pressure and other heart problems. I feel like better and more active than other 75 year olds Hoping to get to Toad at least once more this year. May not be for Canada day but it sure won't be in Sept. like last year. That was miserable weather and boring campers.

Health wise I'm good. No more visits this year ,to Campbell River, to see my heart specialist or have the pacemaker status checked out. Earliest appointment is next May 2024. Might make it to Toad for July 1 but I have still some projects to attend to that got put off due to medical appointments and health issues.
MA little apprehensive about managing the ride in hot weather. I took a different route last year and cut quite a bit of time off to get there. I made a few bad road choices that ran me out of gas 100 feet downhill from the gas pumps at Hope. I'll be taking an even shorter route this year.
Looking forward to see friends that I haven't seen for awhile.

Well damn .Another health issue that delays my plans. Not heart related but can't ride til this gut infection gets cleared up. Still hoping for a mid July Toad run. Ya'll take care.

Well it's looking like I'll be heading out on this Tuesday or Wensday, finally!! Pretty sure I'll be at Toad into August. Old age has presented unpredictable situations that make plans unreliable. Hope to see any of the old Shovel Crew that might make a visit.
