Summer ridin' plans?
Anyone got any riding plans for the summer? I was gonna try and make it out to B.C. sometime between July and August but it seems that due to work, the virus and the unending wet weather around home it looks like it's gonna be another "staycation" for me.

Re: Summer ridin' plans?
in short...no.
local rippin' with local yokels is all i'm doing, dirt bike overnighter maybe the extent of it.
I ejected from FB so don't really know what's going on in the world, but Toad is open for social distanced self-serviced camping so far as I know.

Another no ride year for me. I might get time to change a rear wheel and a banana to Y bracket brake set up.
It's a real pain to insure since I don't have a credit card or a printer to get forms.ICBC only has online insurance or a drive to Nanaimo to the only Island office that's open.We don't have a vehicle that'll make that drive.
Can't get away even if I could manage ins.Bren's health is still not good enough for handling all the animal chores so I'm tied down doin the feeding ,hay movin and shit cleanup.

Thanks Sunny!
This pic hits close to home with the Chimes can on my old pic-a-nic table.Spent many days around that old veteran. I've got a Ginger chews can that I've repurposed for daily use.Pretty sure it doesn't contain what your Mango does.
Nice graffics on the pale ale bottle.
You had real decent weather for the ride over the top.
Thanks Sunny!

summer riding plans hit a road bump in the guise of a detached valve seat in the rear head.....must be a 2020 thing.

Re: Summer ridin' plans?
im gonna say that the shop that installed my seat may have not made sure i had the proper size of resitance for it to fit tight enough..,,made it through one season anyways befor it fell out.,,,brand new top end too,,,,,what a bummer,, but i got lucky it fell out as i shut down so it didnt beat shit up too badly...Mofo,s going to put a seat in for me,,i cleaned up the damage on the head and piston,,im gonna put it back together and run the fuckin cunt till it blows up,,,got to come apart one day anyways.. id post pics but cant download em off my phone,,,but anyways we will see what happens..
Re: Summer ridin' plans?
Yikes!! At least it happened on shutdown.I wasn't thinkin that the seat had busted into pieces. The carb screw that got sucked into the intake on the Weerier did more scarring to the piston domes. That little bastard caused thou$and$ of damage to pistons, heads, rods and eventually the bottom end.It took a few years before a total rebuild was needed.
The Mofo will do it up right and tight.
