Trojan Iron Horse
Got out again this weekend with Jay...he rode his Evo (eek) as the mini fire-hydrant carb was acting up on old yeller.
A fair day Saturday...fall is so beauty in the Koots
my view from the saddle with the new fairing:
Rolling into Troy, MT...you always see some more old iron that catches your fancy...gotta be a 62 or 3 GMC sub...factory V6...

Troy is a lovely little town, and the folks there are friendly...real small town America stuff, feels like from a time well in the past...
The "Home Bar" a great old haunt...tho there's a train about every 5 minutes as it's right on old railway avenue and the main switching area lmao

Re: Trojan Iron Horse
hard to find a place to sneak a piss through all that tape but I got er done...
coffee and a breakfast bun were welcome next morn....felt a bit foggy in the brain
As you might suspect, the rubberglide ran beautifully, with the liquid cooling package installed this rainy weekend...her happy zone is 3080 rpm...dang I love Shovels.
that's all I got folks, hope ya'll had a good weekend...

Re: Trojan Iron Horse
as Coop often says..."it was a dry rain"...60 mph in the wind after a squall dries you off quickly...ok I can't lie...53 mph in the wind. Troy is a leisurely 2 hrs from my door, a real nice evening/morning ride

Re: Trojan Iron Horse
Good to see a little dew didn't deter your ride south.
Ya just missed the Cannonball Run leg from Great Falls to Spokane. All that old iron on their last days from Portland Maine to Portland Washington would be great to see..
