Deflectors Ready for The Weerier!
Got the deflectors mounted to my spare Pan nacelle.
Top view:
Front View:
Pic of where Pan part would be:
The bracket that the stock deflector mounts to is not used w/ the batwing.I left the mount hole for that bracket on my new deflectors just in case I ever run just the windshield again.
Had to do a little extra trimmin to the right side deflector to get it to fit along the nacelle.Hope the nacelle castings on the Weerier are close to the contours of my spare set.

The extra trimmin was probably needed due to a slight difference of the bends orientation on the two deflectors..kootenai wrote:that's cool den, nice work!! id like to believe the moco kept them contours exact,,,,,,,,,,,,they are pre jap/bangladish manufacturing..............

A little more "exacting work " was needed to get the right deflector into position between the fairing and nacelle.Traced the profile of modified right deflector onto the left deflector before I bolted it in place.
Hopefully the left one will fit right in after the modifying needed on the right one..

Final Mounting
Both deflectors mounted after a little modification of the edge on the fairing side.
More pointed than in previous pics.
Right side:
Still a tad long at the front. To be cut back when I take the fairing off again.I want the fairing to sit a little closer to the headlight rim.

There's clear slit aquarium tubing along the nacelle side an some black rubber window edgeing along the fairing side.Hopefully it'll dampen any vibration and contact noise.
