Ambitious - no. Just hope to be able to ride somewhere on the barge and meet up with my brothers.
The shovel needs some lovin', I'd better plate it and take it for short hops this year.

That's a bit early for me sir. No drinks until the sun is above the yardarm.
I like to start work when the sun is nice and warm, something around 1pm is great.

Oh no sir.
I actually do work when required and don't live in my parents basement playing video games and collect CERB cheques from the Lieberals.

Re: summer riding plans?
Plans lead to disappointment when not fulfilled.
Had enough of that these last few years. My mates illnesses both real and potential have grounded me. A deterrent of a sort, in the form of a vaccine, is in the immediate future.
Now if my own failing health gets turned around, I may just get the Weerier out to test all the changes and maintenance that have been done to it over the last year.
Seems I remember a fair bunch of young lads out in the Kootenays that I've spent some enjoyable times with.I could use some enjoyable time ridin and BS'n again.

Let's hope we get a reprieve this year and can get together. The west Koots is a good meeting place, not a ton of people congestion there for the most part.

Re: summer riding plans?
Well I'll be missin another July 1st. That's the day I get my second poke of vaccine. From what I've read the side effects could be harsh for some people with good immune systems. Mine has been excellent in my younger, pre 70, years. Got the Weerier insured and have been out for a couple quick shakedown cruises. Everything seems to be workin well. The brakes are especially workin well after the work and bracket changes that I made. It's been almost 3 years since I last rode and am reaquaintin myself with all the skills and strength needed to tame the Weerier's strong heart. Hopefully by late July /early August I'll be headed for the Kootenays

Re: summer riding plans?
Good luck with your second shot Denn. I had Covid in January and my first shot in May (Pfizer) knocked me down for 18 hours. They told me my first shot will be like most people's second as I have some built up antibodies. Felt like I had Covid again.....
Won't be going to Toad as you know John. No food there, I wouldn't survive, lol. I'd be a walking headache with low blood sugar.
If'n you feel brave and take another couple days then head this way. The Twins are welcome - you could even drag Hammer along - his evo will prolly make the trip without breaking down :>)
