leather mudflap
didn’t like my rubber mudflap...made a leather one. Double thickness, sewed it up.

That'll help keep the engine clean of road slime.
Didn't think of using leather when I made my flap.I had left over floor mat from my floorboard treads.

I figger treat it heavily with sno seal kinda stuff...

Snow seal/wax/oiling is a good idea.I'd probably use a heavy oil myself.

On mine it'd be 80/90W.I've got an OEM white one for the rear but won't put it on til I fix the tranny seal.sunnydog wrote:If it was rear mudflap it’d be 50W oil!
