While at Toad back in July,I was asked again (Didn't follow up on last years request) to join a riding club.The founder gave me the patches.Since he was goin to Leather and Steel in Fruitvale to fix his front brake; shifter linkage and pick up saddlebags and brackets,I went along to price vests.(No room on my vest for the patches).Turned out to be a real rainy day past Nelson.He just missed a big buck that dashed out in front of him by 6'.By the time we got to Fruitvale the sun had come out and we dried our leathers.Checked their leather out and found a 10 pocket vest that I could live w/ and was not too pricey.
I had the patches sewn on and made the run to Port Alberni to meet up with them.
So here's the patches.





Had to get the skull cap too.


These old boys have been ridin for years and are based in Parksville.Finally got some friends to ride w/ on the island.

If ya look closely you can see a rusty pin hole at the top.This patch actually came out of the pavilion by the back window. The one that Al gave me was a new run and was slightly reflective.Got Mary and Al's permission to swap mine for the one on the wall.I'm not into reflective patches especially one that big.
