Winnie had his surgery yesterday , he lost his vision but not his spirit. He`s still very feisty when he hears our voice, his tail is wagging and he`s still smiling. It`s going to be a learning curve for all of us , he`s getting better at avoiding obstacles .
I think he`s going to be O.K.

Was this the result of an injury or just old age?Speedy recovery hoped for Winston.

Yeah, Winnie lost an eye a couple yrs. ago from an injury. Damned if he didn`t hurt himself again a couple weeks ago. Him being a "Pug" with eyes that bug out , we figure he must have poked his eyes with a twig or a branch when he goes in the bushes to do his business. We noticed a scratch on his lens a couple weeks ago ,we took him to the vet for treatment ,but it rapidly got worse each day.
Now I gotta figure out how to make him a special collar with antenae feelers that touch the walls before he does.
