Twas great until just past Merritt when all power went out. It came back on ran, fine for awhile and then the scoot ran like crap.It got progressively worse when travelling below 60 mph. Finally died and wouldn't start just passed Caslegar. I sat on the side of the road for a couple hours.I had previously ruled out the coil and bad ground with a jumper wire. Checked timing and it was wayyyy off. Closer examination and found the points had wore down to the point that they no longer opened.Swapped them out for a good set and reset timing. Fired up and ran smooth until just before Balfor when I turned on the lights and she died again.Ran without lights for most of my stay at Toad. Three weeks later I found a jumper wire on the dash switch had broken under the shrink wrap. Made up a new one and had no problems on the ride home.

I may never forget the time Hammer's "Spawn Bitch" was showing intermittent firing for 3 days and we finally discovered a missing switch screw on the hill near the Savona turn on Hwy 1 west of Kamloops! Koot affixed it with mechanics wire and then we went in search of that 13/197ths screw for the switch....nope never found one....That was an interesting trip lol.
