here's an example of the interesting cuts i've gotta make in order to fit panels on this unusual seat shape. Next time around I may adapt a different plan, but I think this will work. Cut out triangular excess then re-sew, to make the side panel fit.

Here's how that turned out....it's acceptable, will tighten up the creases when I rivet to seat pan.

took some coarse sandpaper and hand-finished the square edges on the foam along seat edges. This will make the cover fit better....

last thing before fitting seat cover is making sure I have a secure method of mounting seat back to fender. I drilled a small hole thru license plate bracket and then adapted a bolt thru top rear of seat pan. Drilled out and tapped the bolt to accept a small fine thread bolt thru the license plate bracket. Will all be hidden from sight but will make a nice tight seat fit, and secure...

all for now, will prolly finish the seat off over holidays and post results...
