So I got at the sissy bar project this eve, had to trim and grind some FL sissy bar brackets (repops not my originals, heh heh) to make em fit around the front of the bullet rear signals. They call me the Charlie Daniels of the side grinder but I did use a jigsaw for the early shaping of the brackets. I used my #1 HD sissy bar because my tourpac was designed for it. I'll run it for awhile until I figger how to bend them BBQ punji sticks that Koot gave me, 5/8 steel rod is tough to bend over your knee!
Ok, I'm ranting, so here's some pics:

Sissy in place, same angle as the forks so it don't look wierd.

With the leather tourpac in place, fits over the sissy bar with an upside down pocket sewn on.

Ahhh, T-bag! Okay, that's better. I'll have to work out the straps to secure it down but shouldn't be a problem...packing all my tools and supplies into this bag for longer rides, and of course my tarp and Indian blanket will fit under it on the seat.
More pics once the Wx improves and I can get her outside.

Thanks Longfork,
I'm gonna have the old leathersmith do a bit more work on this one, some side pockets etc...and its about the size of a good backpack so I'll have 'em stitch a ring in the upper center so I can wear it like a backpack if necessary. You know, when you feel like goin for a hike after a 10 hour ride!

Maybe I would get a pillow attachment cause after a ten hour ride I just rather fall down than go for a lovely hike lol

That may just be me though lol
