Small Machine from Cheney Washington
To answer your question Hammer, here it is. Sorry for the shite pics, took 'em soon as I got home.
Its a pretty old (serial 1128) Southbend, 10" lathe. I managed to sell my toy Atlas lathe to an elderly gent in Sasquatchewan, he wanted to restore it and I needed to get a more industrial one. This one runs nice, needs some tweaking but is useable right now. I am stoked.

Nice score .I wish that I had room for a small lathe.I don't know how many times that I've needed a specifically sized bushing to repair wobbly fitting parts.

Way cool! When you said you were picking up a small machine the first thought in my head was lathe! How weird is that?

So after messin with the arrangement in the shop for awhile, I settled on a workable location (had to relocate the beer fridge!) for the lathe. I think it's gonna work out real nice.
Gonna wire it into the old cabinet, which still has the old light wired in, and an extra outlet. And as Koot suggested, will put up a metal backsplash on the wall, and some coverage beneath to catch oil and shavings.
