Hey folks Cloverdale vintage swap meet Sunday April 23, I think some from the Kootenays going...wondering if we could car pool or at the very least meet up when we down there...that pub in Chilliwack is fun...I've had a slow spring workwise but trying to break outta the funk...had trouble getting logged in here for a long time...looking forward to seeing everyone.

We stayed over in Princeton fri nite, nice little town, the twins hit an Irish pub, didn't do anything silly...headed out early sat after fuelling up with cowboy coffee...saw that copper Mtn mine just west of Princeton holy shit apparently they extract 50,000 tons of copper per year.

Hooked up with Larry and Bob noonish Saturday in Langley, usual traffic jam on the #1.


Brian (SuperB) and Kenny H met us at Travelodge on the Fraser Hwy. We walked to "Original Joes" bout half mile west, had beers and a snack, then absconded the local Safeway w a shopping cart, planning to use it at swap meet

Swap was great, a few old beauties to ogle:

....and we found some parts, the shopping cart worked excellent

...I found some goodies too:

Early 50's tanks, maybe '53 or '54? CdnDewey and his friend Rod from VanIsle had these..


Nice luggage rack


I also traded a clutch basket for some machine steel from Marker who came down from North Van
