Got real lucky...no broken bones and no internal bleeding, four or five stitches in my upper lip and another fifteen or so around the eye and cheek area, can still see but eye is weeping blood, forks are bent, tanks fucked, bars, headlight are toast, bars are toast, seats spit all to shit, air cleaner road rashed as well as the shock, triple trees look warped, frames hopefully OK, fucking cop shows at the hospital and gives me a citation to get it inspected at a liscenced inspection facility. Hit it broadside, I figure the apes saved my life. Pretty amazing it didn't kill me actually. No time to brake, it came out of nowhere. Bike was runnin so sweet too. Happened just past the turnoff to Moyie lake provincial campground. Made me reevaluate the worth of a full face helmet. Nope ,didn't get to keep it, I wanted to eat that fucker! Thanx for the tank offer Broman, once I get better I'm gonna start workin on it so I can get it up to Harley for the inspection. Sore as hell.

I can't see the pics at work but by your description it improved your looks, lol

Be home in 2.5 weeks - if you need anything, let me know. I also have 2 sets of tanks - 1 OEM that would need some repairs (leaks) and the other my last set of aftermarket that I have welded the tabs on twice - paint is still good. Might have a useful set of bars (not apes) would have to check when I get home. Think I got rid of my small headlight, again - will check.

I hate those giant antlered ditch rats....... almost clipped one on Hwy 6 last time I went to Nakusp. That road is littered with them.
