Front end parts

When Bill had my front wheel off this a list of what he found that i should replace

Lower tree is bent , sliders bushings shot and one damper has a broken spring .

Tubes are good and its all early FLH Showa stuff 41mm

Just a feeler for whats out there

No broken springs in mine but pretty much what i've been runnin for 31 yrs.It's almost impossible to find the tools or anyone to replace the bushings in the early FLH lowers.Lower tree on mine has been tweeked since I bought it.Always been a bitch to get the tubes in without screwing the chrome up at the top.I've been lookin for replacements at swaps for years but by now any are as bad as mine.I'll buy new someday (maybe).Only ones that i've seen have no drain holes.

Bill was saying a hydrolic shop can do the bushings but they have to reamed to size after which wasn't done on mine and that's what caused my problems

I may have a dampner spring dave ill go for a look this evening,and get back to ya.

found these in with some dampner parts

Its the little wee one Gary i ts not broken its missing , im going to wait till i can figure out what ive got and get new

I think i can order new complete damper assembly's
